Winter Ball 2008 ~ Art of Change
December 6, 2008 - The Collective Renaissance Guild and the NBAF hosted a premier holiday event for Atlanta’s Urban Gen X elite at the Mercedes-Benz of Buckhead showroom. Young professionals from politics to education, hip hop to medicine, came together to celebrate their collective achievements and enjoy shared artistic traditions. Featured guests included Dr. Cornell West and Big Boi of Outkast.

Conversations & Cocktails with Wynton Marsalis
January 30, 2009 - The Collective Renaissance Guild invited an exclusive group of Atlanta's Urban Gen X from powerful leaders of the Civil Rights generation to witness the incomparable Wynton Marsalis and the acclaimed Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra perform at Atlanta Symphony Hall; then to an intimate cocktail reception and conversation with the living legend on the importance of Jazz. Celebrity personality Kenny Burns moderated a discussion with Mr. Wyton Marsalis and activist rapper Killer Mike; and guests left with an autographed copy of "Moving to Higher Ground: How Jazz Can Change Your Life" by Wynton Marsalis with Geoffrey Ward.

for social change and philanthropy. Renaissance Woman 2009 Recipients were Kysha Cameron, Judge Glenda Hatchett and Evelyn Lowery.
